What programs is everyone using these days?

I mastered ink on Bristol in the early 90’s to draw patents. In the late 90’s, Adobe Illustrator was the program to draw with. I’ve recently moved up to AI CC. Most of my corporate clients are now providing 3D CAD files drawn with programs such as SolidWorks and Catia.
My question to my fellow Illustrators is what programs are you using these days to work with CAD files, and what are your experiences in this realm?
